Inspired by my Pinterest board, this collection celebrates chinoiserie charm, with a flea market soul

The Inspiration

This collection began as a mood, a Pinterest board titled Chinoiserie Chic. A gathering of porcelain blues and pinks, tangled florals, lacquered patterns, whimsical birds, blossom and timeworn treasures. A little bit flea market, a little bit drawing room, a little bit collector’s daydream.

This box is a physical gathering of that mood, curated entirely by me, sourced from flea markets, boot fairs, and treasure hunts. Every item has been handpicked, a reflection of the pieces I am drawn to while rummaging through markets, sorting through old boxes, or spotting something forgotten on a back shelf.

What’s Inside

A curated collection of tactile treasures — all sourced by hand.

Every piece inside this box has been personally gathered by me, hunted from flea markets, boot fairs, vintage stalls, and second-hand markets. Each box holds the same core elements, but with unique variations in patterns, textures, and colours, no two are exactly alike.

Inside you’ll find:

  • Two small vintage fabric remnants in a chinoiserie theme, florals, birds, pagodas, or motifs in soft faded tones, sourced from antique and vintage textiles.

  • Two small vintage collectables, each one chosen for its charm and character.

  • A carefully curated ephemera pack, designed for journaling, crafting, or slow moments of play.

  • A vintage glassine envelope of notions, a tactile bundle of vintage threads, ribbon, lace, and buttons, each piece a delight to handle.

  • A card holding two buttons, made from damaged vintage chinoiserie plates. Each button is a fragment of porcelain history, transformed.

  • A small roll of chinoiserie washi tape, to complete the collection with a perfect paper flourish.
